ULFIT works through the application of 65-75 degrees of high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) which specifically targets the collagen and fat layers of the skin.

How does HIFU work?

It is a comfortable treatment with no prior preparation or anaesthesia required. During the remodelling phase, the collagen fibres strengthen and rearrange, creating tighter, lifted and slimmer skin.

 

What is involved with HIFU?

An ultrasound gel is applied to the skin and the treatment is delivered once to each area with the handpiece using firm pressure. You may feel direct warmth in the area being treated at the time and a pulsing, tightening effect. 

 

What are the side effects?

The treatment is non invasive and relatively pain free with little to no down time. You can return to work immediately after. As it is  a very stimulating treatment, You may experience mild redness, mild superficial swelling, or very rarely localised numbing in any area.

What results can I expect?

The ULFIT achieves a lift and tighten to the treatment area in 1-3 sessions, maintenance treatments are usually required in 12 months. You will see an immediate lift and glow on the day of treatment. Your remodelling will continue to improve over 4-6 weeks after treatment.
